From the birth of our democracy, it has been glaringly apparent that the right to vote is fundamental to the attainment and preservation of our rights as Americans. However, It is also apparent that there are very coordinated political efforts to disenfranchise the votes of millions of Americans. It is for this reason that I am so glad to have joined the Rideshare2Vote Aware team. Our work provides the infrastructure to reinstate the voices and votes of disenfranchised communities to prove that when voters organize themselves and engage in politics, politics change.
