My current function in Rideshare2Vote Aware is to lead our Wheelchair Rides program. I have also played a role in our fundraising adventures for 2022 and managed the nonprofit as a whole.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Administration, and I first came to Aware as an intern. Since coming to Aware, I have grown to love the service and work we do as it truly impacts the states we work in. I especially love seeing the smiles on voters’ faces and watching videos of how grateful they are for our Wheelchair Rides program. Bringing smiles to voters’ faces is what matters most to me.

I have contributed to the organization of departments and programs in our nonprofit and increased fundraising efforts. Through organizing and managing, our North Texas Giving Day fundraising efforts were doubled from last year. With the onboarding of our Wheelchair Rides Program in November, we have accomplished 47 wheelchair van rides during the Midterms and 36 wheelchair van rides during the Georgia Runoffs. I hope to continue expanding our Wheelchair Rides program into every state to ensure better accessibility to the polls for everyone.
